Dennis Gentilin, Ethics Champion working with Outback to Develop Ethical Leadership Program
26/10/2018
The Australian Royal Commission into financial services has brought up some harrowing insights into the industry which has left most of us reeling in disbelief. But how did it all start?
“Dennis Gentilin was a 29-year-old foreign exchange trader working in the London office of National Australia Bank’s institutional division back in 2004, when he figured out that hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign exchange losses were being covered up.” Financial Review journalist Joanne Gray wrote in March 2016.
Dennis has since written a book called “The Origins of Ethical Failures” to help organisations and individuals navigate the treacherous slippery slope of modern day business.
I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to Dennis about his book and will be meeting him in the near future to explore how to best prepare people to challenge the ethical failures in their own organisations through our Ethical Leadership program, which will be launching in July 2019.
