Our Community

One of our goals as an organisation is to save the world. Not a small thing. But we know we can’t do that alone so we support organisations who are already doing it.  As our programs sometimes involve up to 50 people, there’s a lot of consumables and we try to minimise food waste and are careful about reflecting our values when we purchase goods and services.

We use ‘Who Gives A Crap’ toilet paper on every program – let’s save the planet any way we can: https://blog.whogivesacrap.org

A little bit of their story: We’re a toilet paper company based out of Melbourne, Australia that makes eco-friendly toilet paper out of 100% recycled materials and 100% bamboo. We donate 50% of profits to help build toilets for the 2.3 billion who live without them.

We also use Thank You products whenever we can get them: https://thankyou.co/

A little bit of their story: We’re a social enterprise. We operate like any for profit business, investing in all the things necessary to create great products and stay competitive. The main difference to other for profit companies, is that we commit 100% of Thankyou’s profits to ending extreme poverty. This means we don’t have any private shareholders (never have, never will). Instead, we are 100% owned by the Thankyou Charitable Trust, a registered charitable entity. All of the distributions to Thankyou Charitable Trust are paid out to our project partners to fund sustainable development projects to help end global poverty. We always have and always will exist 100% for ending the effects of global poverty.

When it’s at all possible to get fast food, we prefer Zambrero: https://www.zambrero.com.au/our-story

A little bit of their story: With our Plate 4 Plate initiative you can fill your karma and your belly in one stop. Every burrito or bowl you buy, means one meal donated to someone in need across the globe. With our partners Rise Against Hunger our goal is to donate 1 billion meals by 2025. It’s a win-win.

We’re also supporting the following organisations whenever and however we can:
