Gavin loves the outdoors and has a genuine a curiosity for the world and people. He brings to Outdoor Initiatives over 30 years of experience across Australia, South East Asia, Antarctica and Africa in a diversity of roles. He has managed logistics and expeditioners as Mt Everest Base Camp Manager, designed and lead outdoor education programs in Australia and instructed and guided in a range of activities including kayaking, abseiling, hiking, climbing, snow camping and cross-country skiing. During the Australian summer, Gavin works as Bush Fire Fighter.

In his down time Gavin can be found participating in community based natural resource management programs or enjoying the great outdoors. He is also a hell of nice guy.
